​​Our founder, Kate Newman, is from Oklahoma City and has over 20 years of retail experience. Before starting Style Assembly, she worked as a wholesale account executive for Loro Piana in NYC, and served as a buyer & store manager of several women's boutiques in Fayetteville, AR and Oxford, MS. Drawing from her extensive experience, Kate carefully hand-selects Style Assembly's brands to ensure her clients look great and feel fabulous. She teaches fashion merchandising at Ole Miss and mentors students who have career goals within the fashion industry. She has a B.S. in Apparel & Textiles with a Fashion Retail emphasis from the University of Alabama.

Christopher Newman is from Mobile, AL, and is a marketing professor & PhD coordinator at the University of Mississippi. He admittedly doesn't have much style, so he stays behind-the-scenes and helps oversee the marketing for Style Assembly. He is an Ole Miss Business School alumnus and enjoys hunting & fishing with his boys.

Kate & Christopher have two wonderful, energetic boys: Woods (6) & Hayes (2). The family dog Lulu (2) wouldn't cooperate for the family photo.
