Our founder, Kate Newman, is from Oklahoma City and has over 20 years of retail experience. Before starting Style Assembly, she worked as a wholesale account executive for Loro Piana in NYC, and served as a buyer & store manager of several women's boutiques in Fayetteville, AR and Oxford, MS. Drawing from her extensive experience, Kate carefully hand-selects Style Assembly's brands to ensure her clients look great and feel fabulous. She recently joined the IMC department at Ole Miss as an instructional professor to teach fashion merchandising and to mentor students with their career goals within the fashion industry. She has a B.S. in Apparel & Textiles with a Fashion Retail emphasis from the University of Alabama.

Christopher Newman is from Mobile, AL, & is a marketing professor and PhD coordinator at the University of Mississippi. He admittedly doesn't have much style (and it hasn't changed in years), so he stays behind-the-scenes and oversees the marketing for Style Assembly. He is a proud Ole Miss Business School alumnus, and also holds a Masters & Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Alabama & University of Arkansas. Christopher enjoys Ole Miss sports, hunting, & fishing with his boys.

Kate & Christopher have two wonderful, energetic boys: Woods (5) & Hayes (1.5). The family dog Lulu (1) wouldn't cooperate for the family photo.
